The project of the rock music lovers’ association “RNR Zona Lazarevo”, under the name LAZARUS FEST, was launched for the first time in October 2018, when some of the most prominent acts of the Zrenjanin underground scene performed, such as Desolation, Trash Union, and Drink or Die, along with special guests Counter Ignition from Kovin. That first festival took the form of a one-day mini-fest, which clearly showed great potential.

In practice, the LAZARUS FEST project proved to be the association’s most successful endeavor, so in 2019 it gained strong support from the City of Zrenjanin, the Lazarevo local community, Stage Music Shop, Miscreation Records, Naša LA Priča, Rok Pokret, and others.
